Nancy Latham

Nancy is passionate about building an authentic, multiracial democracy in the United States, and - as a volunteer grassroots organizer - works with a range of organizations and coalitions to contribute to this goal. She is the leader and a co-founder of Indivisible East Bay (IEB), and has also been involved in Bay Area for Warren, CalRCV, and Vote Save America. She represents IEB in six coalitions: California Jobs First, the California Grassroots Alliance, California StateStrong, Declaration for American Democracy, the Empower California Voters Coalition, and the Not Above the Law Coalition. 


For over 20 years, Nancy’s has been an evaluator and evaluation capacity-builder, consulting with social sector organizations (nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies) to support their learning systems and to improve their programs and initiatives. From 2003-2022 she held leadership roles at the SF firm Learning for Action, and is now an independent consultant. Her projects typically focus on youth development, workforce development, community development, policy advocacy, and systems change. 


Nancy has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Stanford University, a master's in Public Management from the University of Maryland, a master’s in Political Science from UC Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Berkeley.
